My 8th time seeing Tool. The weather was nice, there was almost no wind. This was on the Monster Energy Stage.
Third Eye was a little rusty but still great. Maynard had his big suit on as seen earlier in 2016. Some guy in a wheelchair was repeatedly crowd surfing. “Fuck these dysfunctional, insecure candidates.” “Did you shit yourself?” I didn’t get to see any of the shows they played in January of this year, so it was awesome to finally hear Sweat live. Not hearing Schism was a treat too! At the end of Stinkfist, Maynard threw his megaphone down on the riser. Unfortunately, these kinds of events attract drunken tools and as a result, several fights broke out during the show.
